Both give you the exact same Pro features. The only difference is payment model: Subscription ($80/yr) — lower upfront cost, always on the latest major version, cancel anytime. Perpetual ($200) — one-time payment, never expires for V2, costs less if you run it for 3+ years. Major version upgrades (e.g., V3) will be offered at a discounted price.

The Perpetual License covers all updates within V2. When a major new version (V3+) is released, existing perpetual license holders will be offered an upgrade at a discounted price — you won't need to purchase a full new license.

One license is bound to one device at a time. You can deactivate it on the current device and reactivate it on another at any time during the license period.

1Panel is open-source software maintained by the 1Panel team. LXware is the official commercial partner that handles Pro licensing, billing, and enterprise support. Your purchase and support are fully backed by LXware.

The node limit on your Pro license defines how many Community edition nodes you can add under Node Management in 1Panel. Adding a community node consumes one slot from that quota.

Yes. In License Management you can import and keep multiple Pro licenses. When you add a node as Pro edition, you assign an unbound Pro license to that node.

Yes. You can deactivate it in the current app and reactivate it on another device during the license validity period.

Activation requires access to the license verification service. If direct access is unavailable, configure a network proxy.
